There are many celebrity fashion brands out there. Jessica Simpson's eponymous brand was the first celebrity line to crack one billion dollars in sales. Draper James by Reese Witherspoon. I could go on and on. Then, of course, there are literally a million and one celebrity beauty brands. Name any female celebrity and they probably had a beauty brand. However, most of these brands use the celebrity as the face of the company, and the products they try to hock don’t really matter. It's really just a ploy to make money. But what about those select celebrities who were able to truly crossover into the fashion world, and truly make good products? Is that even possible? I explore that idea in this episode.
