Welcome to the Invention Stories Podcast...Episode 1 part 2 with Forbes Riley is what Every Inventor Should Listen to. This episode is the second part in a two-part series.

Forbes Riley Products are being sold worldwide and maybe you've watched the SpinGym informercial ( like in the thumbnail photo). Forbes Riley has been the product spokesperson for over 250 infomercials including the top 2 most successful informercials in history and knows what it takes to make it in the marketplace today.

My name is Robert Bear and I am the host of the Invention Stories Podcast and owner of InventionStories.com. When I searched for the Invention Stories Podcast YouTube videos...Planet Money...Plastic Was Invented To Replace Bugs video by NPR holds the top spot. We could spend time talking about the history of plastic, how plastic was invented, or where did plastic come from but that's seem immaterial because...we have a plastic problem in our oceans today. And it's a huge problem we must confront so I'm glad this video was made. Today, several states have banned plastic grocery bags and while others are considering a ban. Many resteraunts don't automatically give you a straw with your drink. I've seen several inventors who have built inventions to deal with this problem and I am encouraged.

Another video that is shown is Stuff You Should Know - When inventions kill! I believe it is from stuff you should know podcast or the sysk podcast for short.

But many people that have an idea for an invention and want to turn their idea into a product don't know how to proceed. Unfortunatly, many contact con artist posing as Invention Marketing Companies who rip them off. This needs to change.

I am a failed inventor who like many who had an idea for a product but didn't know what to do. I believe the best way to learn what to do and what to avoid is by learning about the invention journey others have taken. So I began interviewing inventor and sharing their story on InventionStories.com and now do so on the Invention Stories Podcast.

What I've learned from interviewing over 400 inventors is that most people, one way or another, can turn their idea into a product. The hard part is successfully selling their products for profit. That is where Forbes Riley comes in. She shares such insightful and extremely valuable tips in this first episode that makes me believe every inventor and anyone with an idea for an invention should listen to before spending a dime.
