We took a week off, but we're back in full force! Mark Morrison welcomes you home. Luke left the country for a week and nobody had a clue. The Queen of England bit the big one and there has to be some cheesy music and tourist takes about the British Isle. We take a moment for a swell of pride as we talk about the show notes for each episode for the very first time. I'm literally writing them right now, which is pretty cool. New emailer Rich is a fun dude who wants to be a part of things to get his two cents in. Who is the worst person in the world? Let us know. Scott is on a new job tip that has him all in his feelings. Working can be a chore and Scott shares his honest opinion while still being grateful for the roof over his head. Scott's tale reminds Mike about his new internship where an older person he volunteers with didn't understand two-factor authentication. A valuable lesson exists here to teach us that our experiences truly do vary. Take nothing for granted. Luke brings up the concept of quiet quitting, but is easily distracted and it never comes up again. Remember that our actions will always speak volumes more than our words. Sage advice. Rob Schneider showed up on Bill Maher's new podcast and Luke is ready to go off on Maher once more. Luke goes too far though when he denigrates Adam Carolla. We play a Rob Schneider skit that stops the show dead in its tracks. Luke makes it clear Carolla has no quality Marxist ideas. Emailer Rich is worried about the lack of MCU love on the talk show. Scott feels more alone than ever when everybody else seems to love the MCU except him. Rich reminds Luke and Mike of the late night 7-11 nachos right outside the door of the largest freshman dorm on campus. There is another new emailer named Sid who may become the show archivist. Apparently Neil DeGrasse Tyson slipped past the Me Too mob in 2019. Sid prefers Carl Sagan. Show OG Danny gets us riled up by talking Detroit Lions. That's always catnip for frustrations galore. The Lions heartache seemed like ancient history until Mike realized there was so much more within him. As the episode closes, former Lion's head coach Matt Patricia ends up being the worst person in the world according to Mike. We're all going to Sunny Day Real Estate this Sunday and we'll have a full report next week! We love you guys! We close the show with Snibe by Sunny Day Real Estate. If any of this nonsense inspires you for better or for worse, email the show at [email protected]
