Right now, there are many people who are anxious about the world situation. The Middle East is the focus of the world's attention as the country of Iran is being militarily confronted.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are told that in the last days, there would be wars and violence. One term used is "perilous times." Lives are definitely in peril as the situation explodes.
In Scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments, we are told "do not fear" in the Word, what should our response be? Who is in control of this situation? Is this the "End Times" scripture talks about so clearly, and yet, sometimes a bit veiled?
So what do we do? Since history is "His story," let's consider our Biblical response to the present situation.
