The Iron Giant is the most overlooked film in animation. A product of the late 90's, the Iron Giant presents a story that has been told before but packages the narrative in a way that captures the emotions and interest of its viewers. Despite the care put into the movie it was a total box office failure. How could a now revered movie do so poorly during the time of it's release?
