You cannot tell anybody to just stop thinking about something. They will definitely think about that thing. In a same way you cannot just tell someone to stop being anxious or nervous without telling them how they can stop it.

You have to understand The illusion of Transparency & our egocentric bias.

We think about ourselves too much and put ourselves first. We don’t think about others, we think about what others think about us.

Even when we are out talking to other people, we are constantly thinking what they are thinking about us. Do i look stupid? Do i sound dumb?

But in reality no one really knows what you’re thinking because people are too busy thinking about themselves. People just think about you for a moment and then they go back in their own world, their own problems.

There’s a HUGEEEE gap between what you think about yourself and what you think others think about you. Most probably they are not even paying attention to you.

Find the thing you were born to do by keep on trying different things.

When you can spend hours on doing something without getting distracted or feeling bored & you forget about the world, that’s your Flow state. It’s like you Dive deep into something you like/love. If you’ve already found your flow then consider yourself lucky because not that many people know what they want or what they like doing. They haven’t experienced their flow/calm state yet.

So, people who are doing something where they cannot focus non stop for hours and they don’t enjoy themselves while doing it, they want to escape reality desperately. That’s the main cause of depression, anxiety and substance abuse.

If you haven’t found your flow yet then don’t worry or rush towards it, just give yourself some time. Give yourself few hours everyday and keep on trying different things, you never know. Internet and smart phones have made this process easy for everyone. Use it in a better way for yourself.

10,000 Hours Rule was popularised by Malcom Gladwell in his bestseller Outliers: The Story of Success.

If you spend 10,000 Hours towards something you will become good/expert at it, just make sure you don’t become good at something you don’t wanna do or something that doesn’t make you happy. It’s not worth your time, move on. If you don’t know what you want then keep on looking & trying different things.

Self-esteem is self approval.

You won’t approve yourself if you are surrounded by bad/negative energy.

I used to feel lost and confused as a kid and school did not help at all. I was the one sitting at the back and just lost in my own thoughts. I was like this till my 7th grade.

I was an average student, average in sports BUT never an average friend or person, I always believed in myself.

Luckily, for me my family always kept my self esteem heathy which made me open towards life & in trying new things, taught me in giving 100% without worrying about results and helped me in building healthy relationships with other people. This is how I have some amazing friends in different countries.

Later on I started coming out of my comfort zone and started interacting with different people, making friends from different places/culture and participating in everything. I stopped saying no and opened myself towards any adventure possible. Sure there are some let downs when you open up but the ups are worth the risk.

You NEED to keep on trying different things until you find something which tickles your pickle lol.

It’s all about having good people/energies around you who boost you up and make you feel good about yourself.

SELF LOVE FIRST | If you have a negative mindset you’ll attract the same. Work on yourself first then go out look for relationship otherwise you’ll get stuck in a toxic relationship and you’d be wondering why you’re always running around in circles which will drop your self esteem & confidence, that can take YEARS to rebuild.

*You’ll know FOR SURE if they like you & If they don’t like you then you’ll be confused.

At the end of the day we are all human beings, figuring out our purpose by making some mistakes. Just don’t hurt anyone, You always know the right decision even if you don’t wanna make it.

If you want to get over someone & move on with your life then just try to remember only the good times you spent together, when they were at their best & all the good things they did for you.

It’s really hard to find teachers who don’t judge you on your marks or exams but promote you on finding yourself and be happy. Find those teachers and learn about life from them. This will be a big step towards building self confidence right from the start.

I’ve never shared these things with anyone as I used to think it might make me weaker but I was wrong, now I’ve realised it, just by sharing my part if I can make an impact on someone’s life, If even one person watching this can change his or her ways for better and stop doubting himself or herself then my whole mission is already accomplished.

I wish someone told me these things when I was struggling but here it is. I told you I will do anything to make you happy and motivated even it means being vulnerable.

Talk about your fears and take it’s power away.

India is the world’s second largest English speaking country, second only to the USA with more than 125 Million people speak English BUT how many are confident in speaking? Does it even matter?
