Season 2 Episode 1 – The Work Outing

Ant follows Matt’s pick with another sitcom. This week the panelist will review an episode of the British comedy The IT Crowd. The show was a cult classic among nerds that popularized the phrase “Hello IT, Have you tired turning it off and on again?”, it was a new take on the workplace comedy genre focusing on the oft-neglected IT department of a giant corporation.

Ant made the bold choice of selecting the opening episode of season 2 which places the cast outside of their normal environment. Will the gamble pay off? Will the dry British wit and repetitive jokes win over the panel? I think we all know the answer to that: MAYBE!
