The Jackalope is described as a jackrabbit with the antlers of an antelope. There have been many variations of the Jackalope throughout history i.e. the Antelabbit, the Skvader, and the Wolpertinger. Though it is commonly believed that the Jackalope is actually a jackrabbit infected with Shope papilloma virus, which can cause the growth of antler-like tumors on the rabbit’s head.
