Jeffrey Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, was an American serial killer and sex offender who committed the murders of 17 young men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer's crimes involved rape, dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism. His actions came to light when one of his intended victims escaped and led police back to Dahmer's apartment, where they discovered photographs of dismembered bodies, severed heads, and other gruesome evidence.
