So insightful!!
John Bunyan was so far ahead of his time. His work is not an "easy read". The English language in the 17th century is alot like reading the Old Testament. But this man's writing is so incredibly insightful it's just amazing. This is the 2nd book of his that I've read and I'm excited to read more. This man was just so sensitive to the Spirit and, again, SO far ahead of his time.
Classic
I really enjoyed reading how Bunyan gets to his point. Bunyan had a great Theology. His writing id a little hard to follow for someone not familiar with 16th or 17th century English. But it is well worth the time. Not quite as good as Pilgrim's Progress but this is not a story. It is good Biblical exegesis and great theological exposition.
Even GREAT sinners may come to Christ
This is absolutely one of the best-ever books written for (a. those awakened to their sin and trapped in the muck of despondency and (b. tender and weak-faith Christians who fear that they might not be believers. Even GREAT sinners may come to Christ!
