Penelope (Penny) Higgins has been writing poetry since she was seven years old. She has written several children's stories, including Oscar, the Mighty Crab, There's A Bear in My Bed and The Regimarilla from Regimarazz. Penny is a retired teacher. She lives in a small retirement community in Oregon where she keeps busy doing volunteer work, and arts and crafts.
