    Twenty-five years ago today, Brian Clark walked into the World Trade Center for what should have been an ordinary day at work. He would turn out to be one of the lucky survivors of the 9/11 attacks.

    Who should have the final say when a city signs a major contract: elected politicians, or city staff? That question is now being debated in Victoria after the city's decision to award its new bike-share contract to Lime.

    In Vancouver, a group of firefighters watched the 9/11 attacks unfold at Fire Hall No. 5. They didn't know exactly what they could do, but they knew they wanted to do something.

  • The tragic story of an 85 year-old man killed by a stray bullet

    An 85-year-old man, Chang Yong Cho, was in his own home in Burnaby when he was killed by a stray bullet.

    Police had been called to reports of gunfire around 1:30 Sunday morning near 18th and Humphries. The suspect vehicle was gone when officers arrived, and initially there were no victims found.

    More than 14 hours later, police were called to do a wellness check on Mr. Cho and found him dead inside his apartment.
