The Dale Hansen experience continues in this fifth part of Dale joining The JMKast to talk about what he's been doing this last year and what he's about to start doing again. As he says, we talk about his two favorite things other than Mrs. Hansen, Dale and poker. HaHa 

 

In this last segment, he talks about a very special viral "Unplugged" segment that showed him the impact he was making when speaking about social topics that meant something to him. He talks about the people that say he drives them nuts but they keep watching and listening anyway and how he just wants to continue to make this world a better place for his granddaughter as long as he can and that's why he wants to talk again about those issues and sports on his own podcast coming soon. 

 

Dale Hansen spent 50 years in broadcast television and was a viral sports legend who retired September 2, 2021 after 38 years at WFAA. In 2019, he was honored with the RTNDA's Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also won the Peabody & duPont-Columbia Awards for the SMU football team's Investigation that led to the death penalty by the NCAA.
