John Used to talk to Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon about the lack of African Americans in pro football coaching. Spent a lot of time with Moon who was correct when he said equity in coaching will take place a lot more where there are black owners. You can’t make an owner hire a minority, but there seems to be a lot of head scratchers every year. At least now there is a dialogue. At a time like this where there are no live sports anything important is going to be talked about more.
