It has been one hell of a week for the Trump administration. Lawyer under criminal investigation, millions paid out to keep quiet, but has any law been broken? Republicans in Congress are looking into the abyss in November, and that’s not helped by Trump tweeting and commenting wildly. Trump has to reign himself in, or he will continue to sabotage the Republican brand.

In other news, The New Yorker magazine has characterized Chik-Fil-A entering the NYC fast food market, as an invasion of fundamentalism. This sort of nonsense is why Trump was elected. We’ve moved from a noble experiment in freedom, toward just another society with a population dependent on big government. As if we need a reminder, an officer shot and killed, with his dog injured, reminds us that the men in blue set out every day to risk their own well-being to protect us. See a cop, thank a cop.
