We have lowered our standards in this country. Heroes used to be exceptional, not just famous. We saw yesterday what a real hero is made of when Tammy Jo Shults calmly save her 737 and passengers on board. It is truly amazing that she and her copilot were able to manage that plane until it was safely on the ground. We don’t get opportunities to praise real heroes often.

On the other end of the honor spectrum, Last year at least 150 illegal immigrants, who are known gang members, were released onto our streets. Sanctuary cities and this sort of nonsense are why Donald Trump was elected. Trump is supposed to fix our broken immigration system, but will he? States will continue to scoff at federal law until the President acts decisively.
