The US government has re-opened for the business of mortgaging our kids’ future. Nothing got done. Both parties just tee’d up a mid-term campaign issue. This is no legislative victory.  

This shutdown isn’t about fiscal responsibility, or the troops, or children… it’s about immigration. That’s the issue at hand. Part of the deal to reopen the government is a promise by Republicans to give Dems a vote on extending DACA. Joe doubts any of that will have anything to do with a wall. The American public is poorly informed. If you just watch Fox, you’re not getting the whole story. If you just watch CNN, you’re not getting the whole story. If you just watch MSNBC…..you’re a lemming. Joe wants to replace congress with 535 every-day law abiding citizens. What say you?
