In todays episode I share my journey of sleep with tips and ideas to get a deeper more blissful sleep plus ways to support our bodies to produce sleep hormones and happy hormones naturally. Even if we fall asleep quickly, trying some of these ideas may help you get into a deeper cycle, create more joy around sleep and boost our happy hormones. This is a mixture of science and holistic approaches that you may like to explore. Perhaps grab a pen and paper to jot down some tips and reflect on your sleep hygiene. Sleep helps with our memory, immune systems, our relationships ( to self & others), boosts fertility, slows our aging process plus so much more!
Pre 2020 I was heavily reliant on medication, weed and supplements to aid my sleep. I would struggle to fall asleep, wake up frequently through the night, tossing and turning plus feeling like sh*t the next day. My anxiety was sky high and I was on the verge of what felt like another breakdown. In Sept 2020 I was blessed enough to have a close friend encourage me to try a video that literally changed my life overnight which gave me the strength to make the changes that have led me to now to falling asleep naturally, sleep through the night and wake up feeling energised and ready for the day.
