Rachel Pfotenhauer is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with over twenty years of experience specializing in somatic trauma healing. She is also an energy healer and a channel for Earth and Sun. Leana Tank, MSOTR is an Occupational Therapist, practicing since 2009,working primarily in neurorehabilitation and mental health settings. Her background in neurodevelopmental treatment, sensory integration, trauma and the nervous system have deeply informed her current practice working in intensive residential settings with adults with severe mental illness, autism, challenging behaviors, psychosis and complex trauma. Beverley Kane, MD, is Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford
University, Stanford, CA, USA. As Program Director for Medical Tai Chi, she teaches a wide range of subjects from critical thinking for Western medical research methodologies to Daoism to quantum theory-inspired tai chi. Her mission this lifetime is to bridge the worlds of science and spirit, making the numinous accessible to those who, like the at Stanford and Silicon Valley, are more accustomed to an intellectual approach to life.

Since 2002, she has worked in the field of equine-guided psycho-spiritual development with a pastured herd of 70 horses on a 270-acre ranch in Northern California. There, she teaches Stanford Medicine and Horsemanship—communication, teamwork, leadership and self-care for medical students and Equine-imity Somatic Horsemanship Stress Reduction and Emotional Self-Regulation in the Company of Horses for Stanford employees and community members. Equine-imity uses qigong, a tai chi-like moving meditation, with and optionally on horses.

Her Manual of Medicine and Horsemanship—Transforming the Doctor-Patient
Relationship with Equine-Assisted Learning has been used by many other medical
centers to replicate the Stanford Program. Her varied background (aka “checkered past”) includes a role as secretary of the San Francisco Parapsychology Research group; a sports medicine fellowship; corporate positions at Apple Health and Firness, Philips Medical Systems, and WebMD. Her interests extend to beekeeping, consciousness studies, quantum theory, and the channeled transmission of the Seth material through Jane Roberts and Robert F. Butts.

A cutting-edge neurologist and passionate horseman, Dr. Stephen Peters has been a guiding figure in the understanding of how horses process information. In his collaborative efforts with renowned horsemen Martin Black and Mark Rashad, he has provided a strong scientific process to horsemanship and has revolutionized the modern understanding of horse neurology. However, Peters is also passionate about the etherealness of horses and how they can communicate with humans.

In this episode, Dr. Peters explains how since being on the Journey On Podcast in the first year (Dec. 2020) he has expanded his views about the way the world works, while still remaining rooted in science-based theories. He combines these new views in an upcoming book called Neuropoetry, where he combines science with art in a felt sense.

He also has an updated version of the classic Evidence-Based Horsemanship coming out later this year called The Science and Practice of Evidence-Based Horsemanship, which provides a rich catalogue of scientific documentation to the horsemanship.
