Ricky was born to humble beginnings in San Diego — The Crib! — where as a high schooler, he excelled at football, baseball and track. At a very young age, he had an intuitive sense that life is an adventure, and that the highs and lows are therefore expected (and welcomed) as part of the ride. In 1998, he was awarded the 64th Heisman Trophy, at the age of 21.

In the middle of his accomplished NFL career, Ricky found cannabis and everything changed. At the time, he became synonymous with the negative stereotype of the lazy stoner. Undeterred by people’s ignorance, and inspired by the desire to understand his fascination with cannabis, Ricky set off to study the origins of cannabis in the foothills of the Himalayans. Ricky now lives the wisdom of what he discovered on his journey, and yes, it includes smoking weed daily.On his journeys, Ricky discovered than cannabis was only one of thousands of plants humans have used to improve their quality of life. To deepen his knowledge of how herbs are used medicinally, Ricky enrolled in both Ayurvedic (Indian) and Traditional Chinese Medicine study programs. The insights gained from these studies gave Ricky the keys to his own healing. Ricky now shares his healing insights through his herbal formulations, healing bodywork, wellness consultations, and… 

Astrology! On his journeys, Ricky also discovered astrology, the real healer. 16 years ago, Ricky began a life long study and practice of astrology.
