We have considered the hindrance of having performance-based thinking.  Tonight, let’s take a step further and consider the renewal of our minds in order to see and think like Christ.  This is a process of growth and not a one-time or sudden decision.  It was this way also for Peter and the Apostles as Scripture reveals.  Yet this is what God calls us to do as his sons and daughters working in his Vineyard.  Furthermore, the renewal of our minds opens wide our roles as temples of the Holy Spirit, gateways between heaven and earth.  Do we think of ourselves as gateways, bringing the goodness of Our Lord from heaven to earth?  This is the mindset we are invited to receive from Our Lord as Peter did.
