Godly joy is not downplaying suffering. It is looking to Jesus and having the confidence that all the storms we encounter now do not compare to the joy we have in the Lord for all eternity. Godly joy also comes through partnering with one another as a church family, standing together to encourage, comfort, teach, correct, share Gods love and worship together as His children
