O God of grace and peace, you who are Father of all you have chosen, we thank you, God, as we joyfully remember the family of faith you have purchased through the blood of your Son.  We thank you for the glory of the gospel of Christ, which binds your children together as children of one heavenly Father, but which also binds us together in a common purpose: to spread the good news to every corner of the world you bring us to.  We are certain, O God, of your ability and your will to complete in us the gospel work you started in us, and for this we give you praise.  Amen.
