In our text today Paul writes to the Philippians that is hope prayers is that they would embrace the mindset of Jesus. And in the process he quotes a hymn that was a part of the early church liturgy. Philippians 2:1-11 is without a doubt the most complete description of who Jesus. Paul is telling them that if you embrace that mindset you will also find joy. “The Joy of Understanding Jesus” is part of our Surprised by Joy series.
