In which a naked man-cub is found in the wolf pack’s cave, stirring a fierce dispute betwixt the wolves and the tiger Shere Khan, and is taken into the fold after the free and ancient Law of the Jungle is called upon. In time, the little cub grows under the watching eyes of Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, learning the ways of the jungle as he becomes one of the Free People.
