Juxtaposition requires a contrast, which for a believer would be in the difference between those who walk with God and those who do not. Yet, even within the church there exists a more subtle difference between those who live a pretense of simply responding to Jesus and those who are truly walking in that reality. As the old saying goes, “you are either a saint or you ain’t!” As we close out Jude, we are challenged by the writer to make sure that our lives demonstrate the authenticity of our faith in the fact that Jesus is real!
