Riveting story, didn't want it to end
As the books opening suggests, the RNs Pacific fleet and the fleet air arm's actions are not well known at all. The book sheds light on this forgotten fleet and is a fascinating insight into the background, training and ultimate actions of these young men. I really enjoyed the performance of this book and would highly recommend.
A must for those interested in British Military history.
The book delivers an outstanding very personal heartfelt account of the great achievements of the Royal Navy's forgotten war.
A window into a forgotten group of fighting men
A really interesting look at an area of WW2 the Fleet Air Arm in the Pacific. Well read.
Detailed history & events of Navy's Fleet Air Ar
A well read comprehensive history of flying in the British Navy, the plans, people and battles with a good amount of first hand accounts.
Interesting and informative.
A long overdue history of the British Pacific Fleet. I found the chapter on the Palembang airstrikes enthralling. Well worth the investment in time to listen to.
