  • The Lindsay Clancy Trial: Who Is Really Responsible? | Season 3 Premiere

Season 3 is here—and Carlos is officially a Karen!

Carlos joins Amanda, Carolyn, and Megan for their first episode as an official member of The Karens Podcast, and we're starting the season with one of our biggest conversations yet: the Lindsay Clancy case.

Lindsay Clancy admitted to killing her three young children, but her 2026 trial centered on whether she was criminally responsible for her actions. Her defense argued that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors argued that she understood and planned what she did. The trial ultimately ended in a mistrial after the jury couldn't reach a unanimous verdict.

But the Karens have another question: Is the conversation about responsibility bigger than Lindsay?

The group shares their unfiltered opinions about Lindsay, her mental health treatment, the warning signs leading up to the tragedy, and whether the people closest to her—including her then-husband, Patrick—could or should have recognized just how serious things had become.

Who is legally responsible? Who may carry a different kind of responsibility? And were there failures or warning signs that have been overlooked?

Amanda, Carolyn, Megan, and Carlos don't necessarily agree, and they're not afraid to say it.

It's an incredibly difficult subject, but in true Karen fashion, they manage to make a heavy conversation approachable, thought-provoking, and surprisingly palatable.

Welcome to Season 3 of The Karens Podcast—and welcome officially to the table, Carlos!

This episode contains discussion of the deaths of children, suicide, postpartum psychosis, and mental illness. The views expressed are the hosts' opinions only and discussion of the publicly reported case.

  • Behind the K-9 Unit: Security, Working Dogs & Life Off Duty | Part 2

What happens when the K-9 goes off duty?

In Part 2 of our conversation with Kate, a probation officer who runs a K-9 unit, the Karens go even deeper into the fascinating world of working dogs, security, and life behind the scenes.

Kate shares more about the security measures involved in her work, what life is really like for K-9s when they're not on duty, and the unique relationship between these highly trained dogs and the people who work and live with them.

The conversation also gets personal as the Karens share some of their own experiences and, naturally, ask all the questions that come to mind. Because once you give four curious Karens access to someone who works with K-9s, there's really no telling where the conversation will go.

  • Inside the K-9 Unit: How Working Dogs Help People | Part 1

What is it really like to work alongside a K-9 every day?

In Part 1 of this special two-part interview, the Karens sit down with Kate, a probation officer who also runs a K-9 unit, for a fascinating—and surprisingly heartwarming—look inside the world of working dogs.

We’re talking about how K-9s are trained, what their jobs actually look like, the incredible bond between a handler and their dog, and how these lovable four-legged officers can help the people they encounter. And while their work may be serious, it turns out these dogs can genuinely love having a job to do.

Of course, give the Karens access to someone who works with K-9s and the questions start coming FAST. What do the dogs know? Do they realize when they're working? What happens when the vest comes off? And can you resist treating your K-9 like your very spoiled pet when you get home?

Kate takes us behind the scenes of a world most of us only see from the outside, answering our questions and sharing what makes these remarkable working dogs so special.

It's fascinating, funny, educational, and filled with plenty of canine cuteness.

🎧 This is Part 1—because the Karens had way too many questions for one episode.

  • Hormone Replacement Therapy Shortages & the Great Flu Shot Debate

Women are talking about hormone replacement therapy (HRT) more than ever—but what happens when the medication women rely on becomes difficult to find?

In this episode of The Karens Podcast, the Karens dive into the conversation surrounding hormone replacement therapy, menopause, access to women's healthcare, and what a shortage can mean for women trying to manage their symptoms. Why is this happening? Why does women's healthcare so often seem to come with extra hurdles? And, naturally, the Karens have questions.

Then we're tackling another health topic that gets people talking every year: Do we really need a flu shot every year? Who gets one? Who skips it? And how do we decide which health recommendations we follow?

The Karens bring different experiences, plenty of opinions, curious questions, and—as always—lots of laughs to two health conversations that affect millions of people.
