Brayton Bushby – “Focus on the process and be open to learning and growth”

Brayton grew up always having ideas so when it came time to decide between a degree in business or engineering he chose mechanical engineering. However, after working as a Wall Street trader for two years, he realized that being creative is what really made him happy.

He learned about the inventRight coaching program for licensing ideas after reading the book "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferris, one of our cofounder Stephen Key's first students. So, Brayton quit his job and decided to become a student of the program. It was important to him to get the education he needed.

"Licensing is not a one-shot, one-kill. You have to focus on the process and pay attention to people’s actions.” Being a naturally results and goal oriented individual, Brayton knew that if he stayed with the process long enough he would license his ideas. He took some time off, decided to return as a student again, and ended up licensing two products!

Brayton has now been coaching and mentoring students for the past year and continues to teach inventors to focus on the process and be open to growth.
