Sgt. Keyan Brown, United States Army Infantry, Zabul Province Afghanistan was awarded a purple heart for injuries received in combat in May 2011.  Keyan struggled with the symptoms of PTSD after being medically retired from the Army.  He suffered the loss of his father to suicide shortly after leaving service.  Keyan struggled and had more than one suicide attempt.  His service dog saved his life in December 2017.  Keyan was treated with Accelerated Resolution Therapy with some success but had a relapse approximately a year later.  He then received the new treatment called the RTM Protocol.   Keyan now works for a Police Department in Iowa....
