Pastor Brent Lokker explores the authority Jesus endowed on his ekklesia (assembly), when He declared, “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19) Brent helps us understand the connection between intimacy and authority: our ability to bear much fruit depends on living in union with Jesus (John 15:5).
