As a follow up to why our culture can't tell good stories, we give some suggestions for good classic stories that are worth your time and imagination.
Our culture has struggled for the past few decades to tell good stories. Even if a book or movie makes a splash, it is rarely talked about in the following year. The stories we tell don't stick with us. Hollywood and the publishing industry are struggling. Why is that? What has led us to a place where our culture seemingly can't tell good stories anymore?
As a follow up to our previous episode on the forces pulling men, we answer the most common response: what about the women? We discuss how men should view the women around them given so much of what they see online, as well as how men should understand this common reaction when men's issues are discussed.
We discuss the various forces pulling men in different or similar directions today. What attitudes, ideologies, and trends are influencing us? How should we understand them? What merits and demerits do each have? How should we respond in a biblical manner?
Welcome back. Today we discuss our name; why did we name ourselves The Kingdom Paradox? Where can we find this concept in scripture? How does this impact and guide us as we live our lives and interact with ideas and behaviors?
Kingdom Paradox's inaugural episode where we explain who we are and why we decided to begin a podcast.
