When it comes to real life, the focus for many and for far too long has been mere survival. As we look forward to a new year though the message of the gospel is clear: we have a responsibility to the people in our lives to take responsibility for our lives. Matthew 25 shows us that whatever has been entrusted to us is a big deal and we will be held accountable. In order to experience the joy we are all after it is pivotal to know the God that the gospel invites us to embrace.
