Pastor David Halan continues the series in Matthew looking at some hard instructions Jesus gives us if we are to be His followers. He says to deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Him. To deny ourselves means to disregard; disown; to refuse association with; to put aside your individuality. To take up your cross is a means of executing self for a life of complete obedience.
