In chapter 1 we are introduced to prince Osiel, King Owen's middle child. Oseil has a rough row of life to hoe, but he's doing the best he can. For his birthday his father has given him the old palace which was once the capital of the earthen realm. Just as he begins to renovate the dilapidated building, Osiel's father sends him on a mission to investigate some odd happenings within the western plains. The chapter ends with confrontation between Osiel and his father's council. What will happen in chapter 2?

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there currently is no cover art for this book. MiblArt, the company that has been designing the covers for this series, is located in Ukraine and they are facing some difficulties due to the charged climate over there. While they are continuing to work, I would like to ask everyone to keep them and their families, as well as their country as a whole, in your thoughts and prayers. I do have a cover on order from them, but at this time they are delaying orders and honestly I don't mind. Their safety is far more important than some cover art.
