Betrayed. Abandon. Denied. Accused. Mocked. Jesus had legions of angels at his disposal, but refuses to call upon them. Why? This excruciating night of soul suffering sorrow was prophesied in Scripture. With the mission before him, Jesus presses on to the cross.
