1) In Exodus 3:7, God said to Moses, “I have heard them [the Hebrews in Egypt] crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.”
Describe a time when someone really heard you. How did you know that you were heard?
Describe an experience when you were not heard.
2) When you listen to another person, are more apt to pick up on the emotion in the conversation or the facts?
3) Do you find it hard to bring up some aspect of your faith in natural conversation? Do you have any tips on that?
4) What advice do you have for those times when it feels like God isn’t listening? How do you get through it?
