The story begins in October 2018 when a woman near the Lakes community wakes around 3:30 a.m. to strange noises in her home. Moments later, her bedroom fills with bright light.

In another incident that made headlines in April 2023. A teenager claimed to have seen a towering, nonhuman creature in his backyard shortly after a bright flash streaked across the sky.
