Raymond of the 2000s had more than 300 stores across more than 100 cities in India.

Manyavar began it's journey in 1999 and by 2010, it had crossed the 100th store mark. By 2013, it reached 300 doors across 100 Indian cities.

Naresh Goyal started Jet Airways in 1993 and it literally took off by the end of 2006. Jet Airways dominated the Indian aviation market share at 32.3%.

In the early 2000s, Britannia and Parle held, between them over 82% of the market in value terms

HUL had a 41% market share of detergents in 1975 and by 1987, their share dipped to just 7%. Nirma went from 12% in 1977 to 62% in 1987

In 1998, Maruti had an 82% market share in India. By 2000, the Indica model took Tata Motors from just 1% share to 9% share
