The Last Dance for this band of warriors was a traumatic entanglement of fear and dread, dread of the inevitable consequences enshrined by a strangely guilty, existential relief that it was done and over. In my low esteem, delusional heart I welcomed the final judgement as a signal of the end. But it wasn’t over it was just beginning.
