The in the 1960's , The Courageous 12 were a dozen Black officers Among the first 15 in the St. Petersburg Police Department who banded together to stand up for their rights. They sued the city to win the rights to arrest white offenders and work in white neighborhoods as well.

Leon Jackson is the last surviving member of the Courageous 12 and tells his story from start to finish.
