The Last Supper is one of the most remembered events in the life of Jesus. Artwork abounds highlighting this epic event. One must wonder how Jesus really felt about The Last Supper. And we might even wonder how God himself felt about it. Because of the Bible we can know what God and Jesus were thinking. We have it in writing.

As we consult God's Word we can begin to understand that The Last Supper was all planned before time began. The Last Supper really will not be the last supper. Another event is awaiting all who belong to Jesus Christ. An angel instructed John to write, "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God" (Revelation 19:9). As we study The Last Supper we will more fully understand what God had planned in advance.
