Money is one of the most talked about topics in the Bible, yet one of the least talked about at church. In the Bible, baptism is mentioned 40 times, prayer is mentioned 371 times, love is mentioned 714 times, and giving is mentioned 2,162 times. How crazy is that? No matter how much or how little we have, we’re called to approach money the same way. Money has the power to do almighty things. It has the almighty power to change the world and ourselves for good, or the almighty power to bring us down. Imagine the difference we could make as a church if we followed Paul’s command in 1 Timothy 6:18, “to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.” #generosityisfun #thealmightydollar
