不信仰の笑いと信仰の笑い

不信仰の笑い

(創世記17:15-16)また、神はアブラハムに仰せられた。「あなたの妻サライのことだが、その名をサライと呼んではならない。その名はサラとなるからだ。(16)わたしは彼女を祝福しよう。確かに、彼女によって、あなたにひとりの男の子を与えよう。わたしは彼女を祝福する。彼女は国々の母となり、国々の民の王たちが、彼女から出て来る。」

(創世記18:10-15)するとひとりが言った。「わたしは来年の今ごろ、必ずあなたのところに戻って来ます。そのとき、あなたの妻サラには、男の子ができている。」サラはその人のうしろの天幕の入口で、聞いていた。(11)アブラハムとサラは年を重ねて老人になっており、サラには普通の女にあることがすでに止まっていた。(12)それでサラは心の中で笑ってこう言った。「老いぼれてしまったこの私に、何の楽しみがあろう。それに主人も年寄りで。」(13)そこで、主がアブラハムに仰せられた。「サラはなぜ『私はほんとうに子を産めるだろうか。こんなに年をとっているのに』と言って笑うのか。(14)主に不可能なことがあろうか。わたしは来年の今ごろ、定めた時に、あなたのところに戻って来る。そのとき、サラには男の子ができている。」(15)サラは「私は笑いませんでした」と言って打ち消した。恐ろしかったのである。しかし主は仰せられた。「いや、確かにあなたは笑った。」

信仰の笑い

(創世記21:1-6)主は、約束されたとおり、サラを顧みて、仰せられたとおりに主はサラになさった。(2)サラはみごもり、そして神がアブラハムに言われたその時期に、年老いたアブラハムに男の子を産んだ。(3)アブラハムは、自分に生まれた子、サラが自分に産んだ子をイサクと名づけた。(4)そしてアブラハムは、神が彼に命じられたとおり、八日目になった自分の子イサクに割礼を施した。(5)アブラハムは、その子イサクが生まれたときは百歳であった。(6)サラは言った。「神は私を笑われました。聞く者はみな、私に向かって笑うでしょう。」

信仰の笑いを学ぶために

自分を笑うことを学ぼう（あなたは面白いから）

(ローマ12:3)私は、自分に与えられた恵みによって、あなたがたひとりひとりに言います。だれでも、思うべき限度を越えて思い上がってはいけません。いや、むしろ、神がおのおのに分け与えてくださった信仰の量りに応じて、慎み深い考え方をしなさい。

神様と一緒に笑うことを学ぼう

(詩篇2:4)天の御座に着いている方は笑い、主はその者どもをあざけられる。

(ヨブ39:22)それは恐れをあざ笑って、ひるまず、剣の前から退かない。

神様に笑いで満たしてもらおう

(ヨブ8:21)ついには、神は笑いをあなたの口に満たし、喜びの叫びをあなたのくちびるに満たす。

(詩篇126:1-3)都上りの歌。主がシオンの繁栄を元どおりにされたとき、私たちは夢を見ている者のようであった。(2)そのとき、私たちの口は笑いで満たされ、私たちの舌は喜びの叫びで満たされた。そのとき、国々の間で、人々は言った。「主は彼らのために大いなることをなされた。」(3)主は私たちのために大いなることをなされ、私たちは喜んだ。

The Laugh of unbelief and the laugh of faith

Laugh of unbelief

(Genesis 17:15-16) God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. (16) I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

(Genesis 18:10-15) Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. (11) Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. (12) So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” (13) Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ (14) Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (15) Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”

Laugh of faith

(Genesis 21:1-6) Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. (2) Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. (3) Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore him. (4) When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him. (5) Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. (6) Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”

-How to learn to Laugh of faith

1. Learn to laugh at yourself (because you are funny)

(Romans 12:3) For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

2. Learn to laugh with God

(Psalm 2:4) The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

(Job 39:22) It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword.

3. Let God fill you with laughter

(Job 8:21) He will yet fill your mouth with laughter
