Are we married to Jesus?  If you're like me it can be confusing to read about Jesus being the groom and we are his bride.  Where does this language of covenant marriage come from, and why is it used to describe our covenant with God?  For Paul and the Jewish believers in Rome, this issue arises.  The Jewish believers still feared that they were being adulterous if they "abandoned" the law in order to follow Jesus.  So how does Paul ease their fears?
