This April is “Cyber Techno Future Shock” month at Catching Up On Cinema!

All month long we'll be reviewing some of the goofiest “techno-thrillers” from the 90's.

First up, Trevor and Kyle review Brett Leonard's, The Lawnmower Man (1992)!

Featuring at the time groundbreaking CGI animated sequences that are utterly laughable by contemporary standards, as well as pre-internet concepts regarding virtual reality subsuming actual reality, The Lawnmower Man is a difficult watch without the aid of rose tinted glasses, however for those with sufficient nostalgia for it's aesthetic, it's an often dull but still somehow charming cyber-thriller.
