Thoughtful Christian Related Science Fiction

Excellent writing. Interesting and thoughtful concepts in merging science fiction with Biblical event. Very good first volume of a series. Unusual main character, but good development. I was surprised, but after some thought, gratified with the ending and look forward to the sequel.

Thoroughly entertaining and thought provoking!

Gripping!

I'd really like to give this book a 4.5 (but that rating isn't offered), and I'll tell you why in a moment. But first let me say that I loved the deeply inspirational theme, the unexpected twists in the plot, the thorough character development, the subtle foreshadowings of things to come not only in this story but also presumably in his next book, and especially the fascinating connections with real people, locations, and happenings. My only objection to this book is having to read through the one violent crime section. By the standards of today's American entertainment culture, it isn't very graphic, but still not something I really wanted to imagine or have etched into my brain. Perhaps the author's skill at drawing this reader into his story is to blame. Nevertheless, I can recommend this as a well-written and gripping tale (for adults only).

Tom Deaderick's books are all innovative and surprising. However, this new one is destined to be remembered as a great read! It has believable characters fleshed out with current events sprinkled in. The action does not stop or even slow down from beginning to end. I just couldn't put it down. You will enjoy it!
