If you took the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Beatles, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Petty, Hank Williams and put them all together in a stewing pot to simmer you would have the Lazy Suns. Coming together in December 2010, but no strangers to the stage or wide audiences, The Lazy Suns features five seasoned musicians/singer-songwriters who have spent most of their lives performing all over the United States. The band recently announced the release of their first CD and licensing deal with Amygdala Music / Original Productions, who places music with many International Emmy award winning shows on Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and A&E including Ice Road Truckers, Dirty Jobs, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and the Deadliest Catch.
