In regards to handling COVID-19, he has been praised as the gold standard and even received an Emmy for his leadership, but he has also been labeled as a murderer. As New York was the epicenter of the coronavirus, his leadership has become under increased scrutiny with time, so much so that he now not only has been accused of murdering over 15,000 elderly people in nursing homes, but also must contend with newly surfaced allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation within his administration.
