6th Sunday of Epiphany

Luke 5:1-11

The logical reaction to God's holy word and just law is exactly how Peter reacts in the Gospel reading: "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" But Jesus' perfect love and free gift of salvation redeems us, so that not only are we made clean - we are charged to bring others into the fold to experience the overwhelming joy of undeserved mercy!
